Thanks to our regular and ongoing supporters
This includes the following people in organisations that partner with us to help people in need in Thanet:
Geoffrey Philpott of Elmwood and Rose Farm. Many thanks to Mr Philpott for giving us such a good rate on vegetables and for donations of potatoes – a staple for our customers.
Liberty of the Hygiene Bank. Many thanks for the generous supplies of toiletries and cleaning products for those in need.
Matt of Wahl. Where would we be without bags in which to pack our food donations? Thanks for the many years of support.
Suzy Gale and her volunteers at Animals Worldwide. Many thanks for donations of pet food supporting the furry companions of our clients.
Tesco. Many thanks to Vanessa and Jenny at Tesco for enabling their shoppers to donate food and for special promotional events in Westwood Cross.
Thanet Earth. Many thanks to Amanda and her team for weekly supplies of fresh salad produce.
Waitrose. Many thanks to Helen for promoting TFL as one of their chosen charities in 2025.
Watkins. Many thanks to Helen and the staff of our local plumbing suppliers for regular donations of milk for our food parcels.
There are many other individuals, churches, schools and local organisations who regularly donate money or food to us – we could not do what we do without this support, and for which we are truly grateful.
Thanks and Farewell to Judy
August 2025
Our grateful thanks to Judy Gration who leaves her role as Chair of our Trustees this month as she is moving away. She has done a brilliant job, so often behind the scenes and voluntarily. So many people have benefitted from her dedication to her role. We wish her well in her new home.
Jan Tebbett has kindly agreed to take on the role of Chair.
Thanks for Founders Debbie & Pat Ellisdon
May 2023
This summer, Debbie and Rev. Pat Ellisdon, who have been involved with Thanet Food Link since the beginning in 2013, moved to a new church in Canterbury in 2023.
Debbie was part of the original planning team and coordinated the operation for seven years, with their home being the main food collection point.
